Our studio, the JNL graphic design, was in Chicago, on the second floor of what was once a U.S. Post Office.
Located in River North, the studio was a creative work zone where art and design projects pile up. We listened to ambient music in the morning, and house music in the afternoon.
We didn't art direct the photos on this page. This is just what the studio happened to look like on one particular day. This sort of honesty is part and parcel to how we think about the creative process. We are always making, and always moving things around.
We also ran an art advisory called PICKLEMAN which helps our clients purchase contemporary art for their home and office.
The design studio is very much an extension of the art advisory and vice versa.
