This book was designed to commemorate the Illinois Bicentennial and the renovation of the Governor’s Mansion. We worked closely with Leslie Hindman and Illinois’ then-first lady Diana Rauner in documenting a “greatest hits” of fine and decorative arts with Illinois connections.

Working directly with Ai Weiwei and his studio, we had access to 17,000 images from which to design this book at the request of The Museum of Contemporary Photography.
